Modern IHP advantages

Heating in the multi-apartment buildings and in general within the city is implemented due to TPP – thermal power plants. They are connected to the local heat points, distributing the network water for heating, to each district. The "final station" for warm water, heating the buildings, is a real estate subject with a standard heating unit or the equipment of individual heat point. It can be located in each apartment; the line is a system of pipes and radiators inside the apartment. Our company implements installation and adaptation of the heating units at the best prices and within a short time.

Below are the advantages and disadvantages of each method, as well as modern trends in the development of heating.

In the 1960s and 1980s, the Soviet Union preferred a centralized management system. It was justified by relative cheapness and simplicity of such system: it was not necessary to control the IHP equipment, it was enough to commission the central point to connect the lines. There were other advantages. Now the IHP becomes more and more popular.

Comparison for a choice:

  • The control system through the IHP requires additional installations in the apartments, expensive ones, and the TPP are cheaper in this regard;
  • In case of accidents on heating unit, the modern variant is more sparing for other subscribers.

However, there were shortcomings. To implement the central control, it was necessary to lay four heating lines to each building, while the equipment of an individual heat point requires only three lines.

At the moment, construction companies prefer to transit to the IHP. First, it increases the cost and profitability of the housing. Second, such a unit allows you to regulate the climate, which is to be appreciated by the tenants for sure.
