Heating units design standards

In order to equip quality and safe heat point, the design will be very handy. The purchase of the required items is impossible without a clear idea what exactly is needed. It is still necessary to create a scheme of the future heat point, which will certainly take into account absolutely all the tasks that need to be solved in a particular building.

The legislation provides a set of rules and regulations according to which each heat point shall be designed. This is an instrument named SP 41-101-95. It is intended to supplement and expand SNIP 2.04.07-86 "Heat networks". The document clearly prescribes how, for what purposes and in what quantity the heat points should be installed in each structure. Thus, concisely and lucidly, a list of tasks, which should and can be performed by the installed construction, is specified:

  • Regulate expenses of heat carriers;
  • Distribute heat to end users;
  • Prepare hot water supply system;
  • Collect, cool, return the condensate and control the volume and properties of resources;
  • Provide optimal heat supply mode;
  • Take into account heat fluxes and flow rate, which is on the heat carrier and condensate;
  • Switch off if necessary heat consumption systems, etc.

There is also a clear classification of the assemblies. Any heat point design which will be produced by competent specialists may be of one of two possible types:

  • IHP (individual), the use of such a system is rational only within the building or its part.
  • Transit (centralized), the action of which is applied to two or more buildings.

The set of rules on the design of heating units includes a huge amount of useful information for both end consumers of heat, and for those who make adjustment and commissioning of the equipment.
